Hello
My name is Crystal Trottier
People often ask me how I know all of this stuff. A love of all things learning, an exceptional gift for anatomy and physiology, and a red pill event with my pediatrician at the age of 6 would be the short answer. What you see here today is the culmination of my past work with auto-immune disease clients, my own experience with chronic acne and auto immune disease, and from many years of reading medical research both for myself and on behalf of my clients. My extended travels in Eastern Europe, where acne is virtually nonexistent, cemented all the conclusions I drew up to that point.
To be clear, I am not a medical professional and do not intend to promote myself as such. The law dictates a doctor must practice consensus medicine. Consensus medicine is drug therapy for skin problems. My role is to get you off of the drugs while sustaining remission. I do this primarily through basic nutritional principals and optimizing gut health as well as digestive function.
Everything I talk about is evidence based, it's just not consensus. Pre-1970 American medicine had a very good understanding of why certain people got acne and certain people did not. These reasons hold true for a variety of skin conditions as well as inflammatory disorders. The research is there. It's just not something today's doctors are learning or legally allowed to talk about with their patients in most of the United States.
